Lyria’s Carbon Footprint

Why did Lyria want to measure its carbon footprint using the “Bilan Carbone™” methodology ?

Lyria is fully aware of its corporate responsibility towards its customers, citizens and the planet, and is therefore taking a proactive environmental step forward. As a transport company and in view of the challenge of global warming, we believe that we have a major role to play in the global effort we should all be making to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
We have chosen to begin this step forward by measuring the carbon footprint of our
activities.

Goals of the Lyria Eco Comparator

The Lyria Eco Comparator is a calculator that allows you to compare the C0₂emissions for different means of transport available for destinations served by TGV Lyria in France and Switzerland.

The Lyria Eco Comparator is an awareness-raising and decision support tool that aims to respond to passengers' requests for information on C0₂ emissions associated with their journey.
